New Funding Streams Enhance OLSHF Programming

OLSHF was recently awarded a $24,000 grant to fund the Statewide Lions Low Vision Clinic from the state's Blind and Visually Impaired Student Fund.  This is the first time OLSHF has applied for and received dedicated funds for this program.

In August 2011, the Lions Clubs International Foundation awarded a grant in the amount of $61,273 to OLSHF’s 2020 Vision Capital Campaignfor the Mobile Health Screening Program. This grant will provide funds for one fuel efficient vehicle as well as provide equipment and supplies for sight and hearing screening kits to be used throughout the state.
