According to Lion Chuck Blanchard, incoming 2nd Vice-President, the Eugene Downtown Lions will begin its annual raffle on June Ninth at the Bi-Mart at 18th and Chambers. It will end on September Fourteenth at the Eugene Celebration. Tickets will sell for $2.00 each, 4 for $5.00 and 9 for $10.00. The raffle is our major fund raising event during the year and the money raised is used to support Lions community service activities throughout the Eugene area. The money collected goes to the Eugene Downtown Lions Foundation which supports our community service activities for the year. Money collected from the community goes back to the community through Lions activities and services. It is never used for Lions social activities. We hope you will look for Lions selling raffle tickets and that you will take the time to buy some. Our motto for the raffle is "Help us help others." We hope that you will. This year the EDT Lions will raffle off this snazzy red 2008 PT Cruiser.
